A classic Celta Vigo home shirt from the 1997–98 season, featuring the club’s unmistakable sky-blue colours, contrasting navy details and the iconic Citroën sponsor.
The campaign marked the beginning of one of the most exciting periods in Celta’s modern history. Under Javier Irureta, the Galician side finished sixth in La Liga and secured qualification for the UEFA Cup, returning to European competition after a 27-year absence.
The squad featured a memorable collection of international talent, including Russian playmaker Aleksandr Mostovoi, compatriot Valery Karpin, Brazilian World Cup winner Mazinho, Israeli star Haim Revivo and emerging Spanish defender Míchel Salgado.
A distinctive shirt from the generation that laid the foundations for Celta Vigo’s celebrated late-1990s European era.
