The Sevilla 2005-06 UEFA Cup Home Jersey represents one of the most important seasons in the club’s history, when Sevilla captured their first European trophy.

This European-match design features a predominantly white base with a wide dark red horizontal chest band, matching dark red side inserts and a contrasting V-neck. Red-and-yellow detailing around the sleeve cuffs adds a distinctly Spanish touch, while the Sevilla crest sits centrally on the upper chest.

Compared with the club’s domestic shirt from the same period, this version is particularly desirable because of its direct association with Sevilla’s historic 2005/06 UEFA Cup-winning campaign.

    Season: 2005/06
    Club: Sevilla FC
    Country: Spain
    Competition: UEFA Cup
    Kit Type: European Home Jersey

The 2005/06 campaign marked a turning point in Sevilla’s modern history. Under Juande Ramos, the club embarked on a memorable UEFA Cup run that ultimately delivered Sevilla’s first-ever European trophy.

After overcoming Mainz in the opening round, Sevilla progressed through the competition before eliminating Lokomotiv Moscow, Lille, Zenit St Petersburg and Schalke 04 on their route to the final. The semi-final against Schalke became particularly memorable when academy graduate Antonio Puerta scored the extra-time goal that sent Sevilla to Eindhoven.

The final against Middlesbrough on 10 May 2006 became one of the defining matches in Sevilla history. Luís Fabiano opened the scoring in the 27th minute before Enzo Maresca scored twice in the second half. Frédéric Kanouté completed a spectacular 4–0 victory, securing Sevilla’s first European title and first major trophy since 1948.

The European campaign featured a memorable generation including Kanouté, Javier Saviola, Maresca, Luís Fabiano, Dani Alves, Jesús Navas, Antonio Puerta and captain Javi Navarro. Kanouté and Saviola each scored six UEFA Cup goals, while Maresca’s performance in the final made him one of the central figures of the triumph.

    Printing Recommendation
KANOUTÉ 12 One of the defining forwards of Sevilla’s golden era. Kanouté scored six times in the UEFA Cup campaign and completed the 4–0 victory over Middlesbrough with the final goal.
SAVIOLA 7 The Argentine forward scored six UEFA Cup goals, making him joint-leading European scorer for Sevilla during the campaign alongside Kanouté.
MARESCA 25 One of the most historically significant choices for this particular shirt. The Italian midfielder scored twice in the UEFA Cup Final and was named Man of the Match.
LUIS FABIANO 10 Brazilian striker who scored the opening goal of the UEFA Cup Final, heading Sevilla into the lead against Middlesbrough.
DANI ALVES 4 Emerging as one of Europe’s outstanding attacking right-backs during this period, Dani Alves was a major figure in Sevilla’s rise to European success.
NAVAS 15 Academy-developed winger and one of the most recognisable home-grown players of Sevilla’s successful mid-2000s generation.
PUERTA 16 One of the most emotionally significant choices. Puerta scored the extra-time semi-final winner against Schalke that sent Sevilla into their first UEFA Cup Final.
JAVI NAVARRO 2 Club captain and defensive leader during the historic European campaign. An excellent choice representing the leadership of the 2005/06 side.

KANOUTÉ 12 is the strongest overall recommendation for the Sevilla 2005-06 UEFA Cup Home Jersey.

Frédéric Kanouté joined Sevilla ahead of the season and immediately became a central figure in the club’s attack. He scored six goals during the UEFA Cup campaign, joint-most for Sevilla alongside Javier Saviola.

His connection with the shirt was completed in Eindhoven, where he scored Sevilla’s fourth goal in the 4–0 UEFA Cup Final victory over Middlesbrough.

For customers looking specifically for the printing most closely connected to the final itself, MARESCA 25 is an equally compelling alternative because of his two goals and Man of the Match performance.
