The Athletic Bilbao 1986–87 Home Retro Football Shirt recreates the classic red and white striped design worn at San Mamés during the club's celebrated 1980s adidas era.

Worn during the 1986–87 campaign under legendary former goalkeeper José Ángel Iribar, the shirt was associated with a squad featuring Manu Sarabia, Andoni Goikoetxea, Estanis Argote, Genar Andrinua, Santi Urkiaga and Ismael Urtubi. Sarabia led the club's league scoring with 11 goals during the season.

Featuring Athletic's traditional red and white vertical stripes, classic adidas styling and a clean sponsor-free front, the shirt captures the unmistakable appearance of football at San Mamés during the mid-1980s. The design was carried over from the previous campaign and was worn in both domestic competition and the UEFA Cup.
