The Atlético Tucumán 1991–92 Home Retro Football Jersey recalls a competitive chapter in the history of one of northern Argentina's most traditional football clubs. Competing in the Primera B Nacional, Atlético Tucumán finished eighth in the regular-season standings and qualified for the promotion play-offs. The club advanced to the quarter-finals, where it faced local rivals San Martín de Tucumán in a memorable derby encounter, narrowly missing out on progression after two drawn matches.
The campaign featured important contributions from José Alfredo Zelaya, Daniel Rodríguez and Walter Jiménez, who provided much of Atlético Tucumán's attacking strength. Zelaya scored 14 goals across the campaign, while Rodríguez and Jiménez added 10 and nine respectively. Their performances helped the club remain competitive in Argentina's demanding second division and reinforced the passionate football tradition associated with Estadio Monumental José Fierro.
The jersey features Atlético Tucumán's distinctive sky-blue-and-white vertical stripes, complemented by a classic sky-blue fold-over collar and V-shaped neckline. Matching blue sleeve cuffs and contrasting shoulder graphics complete the early-1990s silhouette. The traditional CAT shield appears on the chest, while bold black LOMA NEGRA lettering is displayed within a rectangular outline across the front. With its vibrant colours, traditional striped construction and unmistakable Argentine football character, this heritage jersey captures the identity of Atlético Tucumán during the 1991–92 season.
