    The 2026/27 season represents a major change in Manchester United’s goalkeeping hierarchy. Senne Lammens, who joined from Royal Antwerp in September 2025, has become United’s first-choice goalkeeper and switched to the No.1 shirt for the new campaign. Manchester United lists him as No.1 in the current first-team squad.

    Lammens made 32 top-flight appearances during his first Manchester United season and was named Premier League Signing of the Season. His performances also earned him senior Belgium recognition and a place in Belgium’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

    The goalkeeping department has changed substantially around him. Altay Bayındır and André Onana are currently out on loan, while the senior goalkeeper group at United includes Karl Darlow 12, Tom Heaton 22 and Dermot Mee 45 alongside Lammens.
