The Wales 2026–27 Home Football Shirt marks the beginning of a new era for Cymru, introducing the first home design created through the new partnership between the Football Association of Wales and SUDU. Developed in collaboration with players from the men's and women's national teams, the shirt combines modern performance design with a distinctive celebration of Welsh identity and heritage.

The iconic Welsh red base features a bespoke tonal pattern inspired by traditional Welsh tapestry, bringing the country's historic textile heritage into a modern international football shirt. The design is built around the concept of Hiraeth, reinterpreted as a powerful sense of belonging and the connection between the supporters, the red shirt and Wales itself.

A special back-neck detail carries the Welsh phrase “Gorau chwarae cyd chwarae”, translated by the official Wales store as “teamwork gets the best results.” Combining the famous red of Cymru with traditional Welsh design influences, the shirt represents a new chapter in the visual identity of the Wales national team.

    IN BETWEEN SIZES?

That's easier said than done. Because what do you do if you are in between two sizes?

Well, that's up to you. Do you like a tight fit? Go for the smaller size. Loving a loose fit? Go for the larger size.

    Recommendation

    WILSON 8

Best Printing Choice. One of Cymru's most influential attacking players, highlighted by five goals in the World Cup qualifying campaign and a memorable hat-trick against North Macedonia.

    JOHNSON 11

One of the strongest commercial choices, combining Premier League recognition, attacking quality and an established role with the Wales national team.

    D. JAMES 20

A highly recognisable long-term Cymru option, with three goals during the World Cup qualifying campaign.

    AMPADU 5

A strong leadership and midfield choice for supporters looking for a player closely identified with the modern Wales team.

    N. WILLIAMS

An established national-team option with strong Premier League recognition and consistent involvement for Cymru.

    RODON

A dependable long-term Wales defender and a strong alternative for supporters who prefer one of the team's established defensive leaders.

    Best Printing Choice WILSON 8

    Second Choice JOHNSON 11

    Third Choice D. JAMES 20

We recommend WILSON 8 as the standout printing choice for the Wales 2026–27 Home Football Shirt. Harry Wilson was one of Cymru's most influential attacking players during the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign, scoring five goals in six appearances and producing a memorable hat-trick in the 7–1 victory over North Macedonia. His combination of national-team experience and recent performance makes WILSON 8 our preferred choice for the beginning of Wales' new kit era.

JOHNSON 11 provides an excellent alternative with strong international and club recognition, while D. JAMES 20 remains one of the most established attacking names associated with the modern Cymru side.
