The Manchester United 2026-27 Newton Heath 125th Anniversary Special Edition Jersey is a heritage-inspired design created around the 125th anniversary of the club’s transformation from Newton Heath to Manchester United in 1902. Manchester United’s own historical record confirms that the club was founded as Newton Heath L&YR Football Club in 1878 and officially changed its name to Manchester United Football Club in 1902.
